Established in 1995, Midlands Pet Therapy is all about volunteering within Omaha and the surrounding communities. The members of Midlands Pet Therapy are volunteers that enjoy sharing their dogs with people of all ages in different types of care facilities that are missing the pets they have had. These volunteers help put a smile on the faces of those they visit.
The facilities they visit include, but are not limited to, assisted living, memory support, skilled nursing/extended care facilities, hospitals, college campuses and special education classrooms.
